Meet our Clubhouse Manager

Debra Stanton
Debbie grew up in Blackwood, NJ, and attended schools in Gloucester Township School District. Her father, an avid hunter, came to Pennsylvania every year with his friends on a hunting trip. When he noticed a restaurant for sale in Sullivan County, he pursued his dream, becoming the owner of his own business. In 1972, he moved his family to Dushore, PA, upon purchasing Daly’s Bar and Restaurant. Debbie worked every day after school and on weekends as a waitress at the family business, finishing out her school years at Sullivan County High School.
After her father sold the business, Debbie continued to work in the restaurant profession at various locations. To further her career, Debbie attended restaurant management courses in Dallas, TX, and other various management courses throughout the years. In 1993, she was operating the Red Fox restaurant outside of Dushore. In 1995, she went to work for TGI Friday’s in Williamsport, PA, where she remained for 11 years, eventually becoming the general manager of that location.
Debbie then went to work for Perkin’s, as they were going to open a location close to home in Wysox. After working a year at the Williamsport location, the Wysox location plans fell through. Upon seeing an ad in the newspaper for the Eagles Mere Country Club, Debbie sent a resume, had an interview and was hired by the Board in 2005. She has been working here since, loving her work in the restaurant industry.
Today, Debbie lives in Dushore with her husband, Ron Stanton, a truck driver. She is very close with her two daughters: Veronica, a paralegal, and Stacy, a bank manager. She has four grandchildren: Dustin (who works at the Club), Britani, Garrett and Levi. Debbie is very proud of her family.
